Research
Notre intérêt porte sur les cellules de l'immunité présentes dans l'épididyme murin. Ces dernières doivent assurer deux rôles cruciaux dans le maintien de la fertilité : 1) assurer l'élimination des pathogènes ascendants du tractus génital mâle et, 2) protéger les spermatozoïdes qui apparaissent à la puberté et sont donc étrangers au système immunitaire de l'individu adulte. Nos études ont dans un premier temps décrit les populations de lymphocytes et de phagocytes mononucléés présentes dans l'organe. Nous avons maintenant entrepris leur caractérisation fonctionnelle.
