Workshop "Mechanobiology and Physics of Life"

Workshop "Mechanobiology and Physics of Life"

After Lyon (2016) and Grenoble (2017), we are pleased to welcome you to the third workshop in Mechanobiology and Physics of Life to be held in Clermont-Ferrand on Tuesday January 30th 2018.

This workshop aims at strengthening the local community (Auvergne Rhône-Alpes area), and at fostering links between its members and with new members.

This workshop will cover all aspects of mechanobiology and Physics of life, including development and cancer (with a special session supported by CLARA), but also plant mechanobiology, as well as approaches such as micromechanical measurements (including atomic force microscopy), microfluidics, advanced 3D microscopy, or modelling.

Our keynote speaker will be Yohanns Bellaiche, From Institut Curie, Paris, who will speak about “Mitotic geometrical and mechanical regulation during tissue morphogenesis”.
