The recruited post-doctoral researcher will lead a 3-year translational research project focused on
ARDS, a severe respiratory condition in critically ill patients for which treatment options remain
limited. The project integrates in vivo and in vitro experimental approaches, as well as a prospective
multicenter clinical cohort in the ICU setting. The aim is to develop an innovative macrophage
reprogramming therapy using targeted nanoparticles , to identify patient stratification
biomarkers in ARDS, and to prepare a biomarker-guided early-phase clinical trial
