Heidi Serra was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal
On December 11, Heidi Serra was awarded the CNRS Bronze Medal during an official ceremony chaired by Florence Morineau, Regional Delegate of CNRS Rhône Auvergne, and Mathias Bernard, President of Université Clermont Auvergne. The distinction was presented to her by Fredy Barneche, future Deputy Scientific Director of CNRS Biology.
Awarded each year to recognize the early achievements of promising researchers, the CNRS Bronze Medal honors Heidi Serra’s research on deciphering the mechanisms of genetic recombination in plants.
