Three iGReD Postdoctoral Researchers Awarded Positions in the 2025 INSERM/CNRS Competitions
Once again this year, iGReD stands out for the excellence of its young researchers: three of its postdoctoral fellows have been selected in the 2025 researcher recruitment competitions of INSERM and CNRS.
Abdou AKKOUCHE was recruited by INSERM (CSS1) for his work on the disruption of the balance between the genome and endogenous retroviruses: exploring infectivity, pathogenicity, and host defense.
Bertille MONTIBUS was recruited by INSERM (CSS2) for her project aiming to decipher the function of the H13/Mcts2 locus and assess its contribution to imprinting-related disorders.
Ines TOMAŠEK obtained a CNRS position (section CID 52) thanks to her research on Geogenic pollutants in urban ambient air: Multidisciplinary appraisal of an increasing threat to human health. This cross-disciplinary project brings together two Clermont-based units, iGReD and the Magmas and Volcanoes Laboratory.
These three young scientists will now continue their work as tenured researchers. iGReD warmly congratulates them on this remarkable achievement!
