Worldwide Cancer Research (WCR) has established a partnership with the patient association Let’s Cure ACC to accelerate research on adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), a rare and aggressive form of endocrine cancer.

Thanks to this partnership and the support of its community of “Curestarters,” WCR is co-funding, in collaboration with the Fondation ARC, the work of Pierre Val and his team. This research explores the innovative avenue of testosterone’s role in slowing ACC tumor growth.

In a press release, available here which also features patient profiles, WCR emphasizes the real hope that this research represents for ACC patients, who currently have very few therapeutic options.
